Biotrophication is a horror sci-fi romance TTRPG zine for two players which explores themes of bureaucracy, intelligent life, capitalism and petplay.
The aliens have conquered earth with silent, painless weapons. Now is the age of the biotrophy, the human pets of the well-meaning but authoritarian aliens.
One player plays a Human who has resisted becoming a compliant, pet-like biotrophy and the other plays an Alien who questions the ideology behind conquering humanity and creating these biotrophies in the first place. As their relationship develops over four acts, the two might find common ground, disagreements, grudges and even love... or everything will fall apart.
This is an 18+ TTRPG, made for adults.

The "ending the game" section for the ascension scene is identical to the "ending the game" section for the bedside scene.

i had the honor of playing this game live with its creator on twitch before the game released to the public, and am so, so excited for everyone to finally be able to play it themselves!!
biotrophication is a game that's at once deeply philosophical and sexy as hell, and i have loved every minute i spent playing it. it's a challenging game that will center some hard conversations and i'm very grateful for the time i spent playing it, even though i feel like i've only begun to experience all the things this game has to offer!!
