The First - A Fellowship 2e Playbook

I have ridden the surface of this world for a thousand epochs, watching its ages pass and its people live, sing, fight, learn and die. The cynic would let the ages embitter them, but I have let them embolden me. I am nude-hearted, cap o’color clad in hand and song exploding from the lips.

We, first folk, came here before these lands were carved and cut. We sewed the leylines, hoisted the mountains from flat wastes of stone, and wrassled the fiends of ole. We once pounded bread from seashells, and we hope we can be of some humble service.

I am The First. We were always here.

The First is a playbook for Fellowship 2nd Edition, inspired by Tolkien's weirdest outsiders, Celtic first-folk and Kantele-plucking Finnish folk heroes. They are merry antiquity. The first folk are ancient, powerful, queer - joyous, but never naive. The First can sing great songs, lift falling skies and wield old power.

Play as The First if you want to be mythical and ancient, but also whimsical and strange, if you like jollyness mixed with great power, or if you want to love this world without too many complicated ideals.
